jesus, most disgusting gym ever. er, but some background first. i'm in seattle (redmond, technically; the "east side"), washington, for my microsoft internship. they give you free membership at this gym called "pro sports". i got my badge today, which i was told by my roommate was the only necessity for obtaining the membership, so i bike on up there. (i craigslisted a bike for $75 from a guy in tacoma, for the purposes of exercise and recreation. however, it's smaller than i realized, and it needs a bigger seat before i use it for any such thing).
this place is completely floored by linoleum tiles; even in the exercise roooms. how much trendier can you get? the place has golden chandeliers lighting the racquetball lobbies, and there are 4 bistros. it's 3 stories (at least), and each of them is as big as a wallmart. i saw 3 cardio rooms, each of which had something like 200 bikes/treadmills/stairs. every fruity exercise machine/device you've ever heard of was there. i kept walking, thinking to myself "ok, ok, it's free... i know you'll lose your mind, but if the weightroom is half as stocked as the rest of the place... it's worth it". i finally find the "free weights", and did a count: 4 bench racks, 5 squat racks. the other 300 stations were machines of every variety. not a single deadlift pad, and not a single 100lb plate. so, looks like i'm finding my own gym for the summer. GAH. 4 bistros, no 100 plates... how can you call that a gym?

28 Weeks later. pretty good; not as good as 28 days later. set up a lot of the interesting character situations they did in the first one, but couldn't follow through with them. zombies always win.

so hugo weaving is doing Megatron in the new Transformers movie, so the evolution of his name continues. let's review...
