i've started playing rugby. first practice wasn't great; we did some running, and some basic ball practice, and some touch scrimmaging. it wasn't especially fun, and i wasn't very good; still had to learn the ropes. and i was hesitant about the social scene, which is a bunch of jocks who like to do nothing but get shitfaced.
but today it was super fun; we did a bunch of contact practice (which fried the hell out of my quads/hip flexors), and during touch i did way better and did some decent plays. the crowd still worries me, and i'm not sure i can fit it in with everything else i have, but whatever, i 'll deal. yay for rugby
