Today is Day #1 of my Touch World Cup trip, so thought I'd kick the blog back open so I could record the trip.
Had an early flight (6:30a) so I could get to Phoenix at 9a because this training camp starts at noon. Except it turns out it doesn't; the whole day is people arriving. But this facility is crazy; you just drive out into the AZ desert, and end up at a gorgeous desert hotel surrounded by green with top-notch gym facilities. So i work out, stretch in the sun, and get lots of computer work done. Met everyone (and my team) at dinner, ready for tomorrow. And there are a ton of desert pigeons here, for some reason.
