Our first day of training. Up at 6:30, group breakfast at 7, and various sessions all day. All the teams are on their own schedule, and since the M30s have a smaller group at camp, we could do our own thing (which meant not having to be up as early as the other teams :D ). We hit the fields after breakfast, worked on sub patterns, and provided offense/defense for other teams during their drills. We clearly have gelling to do, but even with that, we snuck some in against the other teams, which is a good sign.
After a long morning session (in which we got too much sun; farmer's tan is well underway), we hit the ice pool + hot pool before getting lunch. I've never done ice baths; they are quite torturous, but definitely help with soreness. Afternoon was various indoor walk-throughs and strategy bits, followed by an afternoon session where we ran against the other teams until dinner. The food here has been spectacular every time; we get our own room with high-quality buffet stuff, different each time. There's a soccer team here too, and they eat in a different room, and seem to get pizza and pasta. suckers.
you can see stars and the dark part of the moon here :)
